AS Monaco look to be flying high at the moment. They have just knocked out Manchester City in the Champions League Round of 16, they are currently top of Ligue 1, they have a fit and firing Falcao, they have some exciting young players like Kylian Mbappé and much more.
Everything is ticking for them and they have certainly announced their ambitions to soccer lovers around the globe. Leonardo Jardim is already being mentioned for big jobs elsewhere but if the club can keep the group and manager together, I have no doubt that Monaco will be an even bigger force in the coming years.
Anyway, let’s move on to AS Monaco’s Home Jersey for the 2016/17 season.
AS Monaco 2016/17 Home Jersey
My earliest memory of Monaco was in 2003, when Fernando Morientes joined the club on loan. For all the years I have known Monaco, the traditional colours of their home jersey has always been red and white. Their 2016-17 home jersey is no different.
The jersey has a red part and a white part. One thing I find cool are the stripes on the red part of the jersey. If you zoom into the jersey or if you view it from close range, you will notice the stripes. From a distance, there is no chance you will spot them. I love it when I see simple details like this on a soccer jersey.
A red vertical line runs down each side of the jersey and goes round the collar as well. The sleeves are all-white.
The front of the jersey has the usual suspects: the Nike logo, the official club crest and the FedCom sponsor print in white
The complete AS Monaco home kit for this season features the red/white jersey, white shorts and red socks.
