Much like Manchester City, it is the dawn of a new era at Chelsea. To fix the ruins of their shambolic 2015/2016 season, Chelsea have reacted by hiring Italian tactician, Antonio Conte. In this post we will be looking at Chelsea’s Home jersey for the 2016/2017 season, which was debuted against Leicester City in the final home game of last season.

For another season, Adidas takes charge of the kit manufacturing at Chelsea. Chelsea’s traditional home colour has always been blue and the new home jersey is no different. Chelsea’s Home Jersey for 2016-2017 is once again blue. The elastic on the sleeves ensure a snug fit for the jersey. There is an inscription of “Chelsea FC”.
Chelsea’s new home jersey features a white V-neck collar, with blue outlines. There is an inscription of “Chelsea FC” on the back collar.
The most notable change with Chelsea’s new jersey is the visible presence of the Chelsea lions across the front of the jersey and sleeves. Another notable change is with the position of the Adidas stripes on the jersey. Like the Germany Euro jersey and other Adidas jerseys, the stripes are now located at the side.
The front of Chelsea’s 16-17 Home shirt contains the official club crest, the Adidas logo, and the Yokohama Tyres Sponsor print centre-aligned beneath the bunch.
The complete Chelsea Home Kit for the 2016/2017 season will feature matching blue shirt and shorts, along with white socks.
