I’m not quite sure where I stand with Juventus to be honest. I supported them a while ago in the Champions League final game against Barcelona, despite my admiration of Barca and a strong affection for Leo Messi. I also respect what Allegri has been able to build with this Juventus team and will definitely have him on my personal shortlist to replace Wenger when or if ever he decides to leave Arsenal.
I am a sucker for the quality of competition though. This is why I am not particularly fond of teams like Juventus and PSG. You could make a strong argument that it isn’t their fault they are lightyears ahead of the competition but you should try and understand why, as a soccer lover and neutral, I refuse to get excited about these teams. In this post, we will be taking a good look at Juventus’ home jersey for this season.
Juventus 2016/17 Home Jersey
If things stay the same, Adidas is set to remain Juventus FC’s kit manufacturer until the end of the 2020/21 season. Juventus’ traditional home jerseys have always featured a fair proportion of both white and black and the home jersey for the 2016/17 season is no different. The front of the jersey features 3 black pillar stripes and 2 white stripes, with the black stripes at the end extending to the sleeves.
The shoulder region is plain white and the jersey has a really snug fit. The back of the jersey is plain white as well with the lower back taking the same pattern as the front of the jersey. The commemorate their complete domination of the Italian Serie A, there are 3 stars above the official club crest.
The front of the Juventus 2016/17 Home Jersey features the usual suspects: the Adidas logo, the official club crest and the Jeep sponsor print. One visible presence is print of Italy’s flag colours in the middle.
The complete Juventus Home kit for this season features the black/white jersey with matching black shorts and socks.
