I have always admired Paris Saint-Germain to be honest. Their new manager Unai Emery is someone I would have loved to have as manager of the club I support, Arsenal. He is young and has shown he has what it takes to win European competitions. Whether he can deliver the long-awaited UEFA Champions League trophy to Paris remains to be seen, but exciting times lie ahead at the Parc des Princes. In this post, we will be taking a look at PSG’s home jersey for this season.
PSG 2016/2017 Home Jersey
As has been the case since 1989, Nike takes charge once again off the kit manufacturing at PSG. The 2016/2017 home jersey is pre-dominantly dark blue, red stripes running through the middle and a darker shade of blue evident on the sleeves. There are white accents present in some places within the jersey as well. The elastic on the sleeves ensure a snug fit for the jersey and there is an inscription of the city “Paris” at the back collar.
The terms “Grandeur” and “Passion” – two of the club’s core values – are imprinted within the inside cuff and represented by the club’s home palette: blue and red. This jersey flaunts the latest Nike AeroSwift technology, making the jersey lighter, more flexible and breathable.
The front of the PSG 2016-2017 Home Jersey contains the official club crest, the Nike logo and of course, the Fly Emirates Sponsor print beneath. The Jersey has a wide pillar down the middle featuring red longitudinal stripes and white boundaries.
The complete PSG 2016/2017 Home kit features matching jerseys, shorts and socks. They are all dark blue.
